I am a cosmologist and astrophysicist at INR RAS
My research interests lie in the nature of dark matter, which we believe makes up the majority of the mass in the Universe and is most evident in structures such as galaxies, galaxy clusters, and the large — scale structure of the Universe. This research sits at the crossroads of particle physics, cosmology, and astrophysics, which presents a challenging yet fascinating area of study.
SHORT BIO | Formal CV
I was born in Veliky Novgorod, a small ancient city in northwestern Russia, 577 km (359 mi) from Moscow. I received my bachelor's degree in physics in 2017 and my master's degree in 2019, graduating from the Department of Particle Physics and Cosmology. After completing my master's degree, I entered graduate school and defended my PhD thesis in theoretical physics in 2023 (INR RAS & MSU).
During my studies at the university, I collaborated with the Institute for Nuclear Research (INR RAS), conducting research in the field of sterile neutrinos, being part of the BEST collaboration. After entering graduate school, I began research in the field of X-ray astrophysics and cosmology in close collaboration with colleagues from the Space Research Institute (IKI RAS). After defending my dissertation, the focus of my research interests shifted to the field of observational cosmology and the study of galaxy clusters. At the moment, I am studying what constraints we can put on cosmological parameters by studying galaxy clusters.
